mini-project and presentation (Tarea #11)

After you finish your oral exam, work on creating your own animal out of different shapes.  The animal needs a name.  Draw the animal and write about it.  You will present your new animal next class period on Mon., Oct. 21.  Work on presenting it this weekend!

1- Physical description:  the eyes are stars, the neck is a triangle, etc.
2- What it eats
3- where it lives
4- its personality

writing test help

Reminder, your written exam is next Mon or Tues, depending on which class you are in!  In case you need some help forming sentences, here are some sentence frames that you can study and use.  These with the questions will also help you study for your oral exam.  Make sure you substitute info for what is in parentheses.

Donde vive?
(El animal) vive en (location).

Que come?
(El animal) come (food).

Como es?
body parts:  (El animal) tiene _____, _____ y ______.
physical description:  (El animal) es (color) y (grande/pequeno).
personality description:  (El animal) es (adjetivo:  feroz, rapido, antipatico, agresivo, etc)

Que puede hacer (el animal)?
(El animal) puede (verb in the infinitive).

Que piensas del animal?
Me (verb like gustar:  only ends in -a or -an) (el animal) porque (another complete sentence).
Modelo:  Me chocan las moscas porque son feas.
